Policy dialogue meeting ''People living with HIV/AIDS in the EU and the neighbouring countries: What progress since the 2009 EC Communication?"

The Committee on Budgets will discuss the 2013 Budget, common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for external action, a financing instrument for the promotion of democracy and human rights worldwide and a Common system for taxing financial transactions

The Committe for Development will discuss among other things:

D66: "No more taboos, end unsafe abortions in EU"

The European Parliament Working Group on Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS and Development (EPWG) discussed unsafe abortions in the EU. Chairwoman Sophie in 't Veld, MEP (D66/ALDE) said: "It is a disgrace that women in Europe, EU citizens, still have to resort to unsafe abortions, even in countries where it is legal. The EU strives to ensure high levels of public health services across Europe. Sexual and reproductive health must be an integral part of public health policies."…
